Interior: Sir John Soane's House

Sir John Soane's House: Hallway, London (2011)
Ink Pen on Paper

I selected Sir John Soane's House because it is definitely one of the more unique houses that have been built. Besides the incredible basement, claustrophobic corridors and the countless creepy mirrors, even the hallway entrance contributes to the whole magic of the house. Multiple archways are used to enhance the sense of a transition between the normal world of London and magic of the house. It is a portal, and certainly highlights the power of architectural design over people.
