Conventional slugs recycle organic material into fertiliser for the land. As a response to the global hunger situation, the Slug-Recycler is a design that roams the land, ploughing several hundred metres across at a time, recycling anything organic to enrich the soil with its large appendages.
Metal wire and Aluminium foil was used to represent the man made nature and utilitarianism of such solution, despite its organic roots.
Although created for the benefit of farming and rejuvenating land, it depends on leeching the land for nutrients, which could be a problem if there is no land needing rejuvenation, hence seen as a rogue pest.
