This photograph - taken on a ferry, shows Kowloon peninsula on the left and Hong Kong Island on the right. It is a dramatic illustration of the landscape that is Hong Kong. Even though we know Hong Kong island is formed by several mountains, it cannot be seen in the photograph. Besides the sea, all we see are buildings. That is what Hong Kong is to most citizens, and me.
