A strong icon of Hong Kong's heritage, the Dai Pai Dong is an informal arcade where food is served. Taken from outside a wire fence, this photograph illustrates how this tradition is already beginning to be lost. Being squeezed out by resturants with cheaper and cleaner food and a lack of support by the government, it is the sad case as with many of Hong Kong’s other traditional practices and relics.
